Fort Warden now pressed heavily to equalize, but the center forward appeared to indecisive in front of the goal. Half-time finished with 1 : 0.\r\n\r\nThe second half showed a sharper and harder play. A fierce struggle between to equally strong teams commenced. But again the forward lines were unable to score on the numerous developed opportunities for goals. Additionally, Wagner found himself on the unfamiliar position on the left wing on the side of the \"S. C.\" Hamstead. Fort Warden managed to equalize after continued pushing through the centre. This lifted the team even further, and Hamstead had all their hands full with defending against the attacks. Pulling all their forces together, they managed to free themselves from their opponents' pressure and score the winning goal shortly before the end of the match under the cheers of the spectators. Thus was this exciting match decided, and Hamstead could leave the field victorious. A draw would have been more justified considering the course of the match.\r\n\r\nThis match has again demonstrated that the football department of the \"S.
