Green for the Ministry of Works. The primary, crouched inhumation of a male of c. 30 years, lay on its left side at the bottom of a nine foot shaft cut into the chalk under the centre of the barrow. The dagger (1) with its bone pommel (3) and six loose rivets ( ) was found near the left fore-arm and was apparently wrapped in moss.
