Arch. Mag. 57 (1960) 127-148, describes the excavation of five barrows of the Down Farm Group in 1958. \r\nThese were two ditchless bowl barrows (which she calls Goddard's 4 & 6) and three saucer barrows (which she calls Goddard's 7, 8 & 9).\r\nNone was RCH 12 - a triple barrow enclosed within an encircling single ditch. The query is whether her identification of Goddard's barrows is correct or whether Grinsell is correct in equating RCH 12 as probably one of G.4, 6 or 7.
