(Reference d's \"Stevenson\"). The site, which turned out to be a small oval cairn, was investigated by J. Orr, D. Bryden and R. Irvine. The cairn covered at least sixteen cremations in bucket-shaped urns, and one simple cremation. Urn 5, the smallest urn, also contained traces of thin gold leaf (1) three faience beads (2) and two white quartz pebbles (4). Urn 4 contained fifteen quarts pebbles (4) ; Urn 8, 3 quartz pebbles and Urn 15 six pebbles of white quartz and one of reddish quartz (5).
