In the centre of barrow 4a a grave-pit contained a crouched adult inhumation with two gold ear-rings (2) a bell beaker (3) & three barbed and tanged arrowheads (4). A child inhumation was found in the ditch filling. These burials were covered by a mound conjoined with a larger adjacent barrow (4) both surrounded by an irregular oval ditch.
