In 1959 a blade of a leaf-shaped sword (1) and a leaf-shaped sword (2) were found, incorrectly attributed to Tattershall by (a) who thought the find was made in 1960. A spearhead (3) and a second fragmentary spearhead (4) were found in 1974, and in 1976 while potato lifting, a stepped-blade spearhead (5) and a socketed axe (6) were found. (c) reports that a certain amount of earth moving had taken place in recent years to fill in hollows in the field, and it may well be that the bronzes were scattered by this means.
