The former is described in Warrington Museum Card Index as having been \"Found at Winmarleigh in a cist or box\" ; the latter group being labelled \"Winmarleigh\" and described in the Museum Card Index as having been \"Found in a box\". Reference (h) says that it is almost certain that both these groups formed part of the hoard described by (a) and (c). It is stated that the socketed axes are all very similar types and that the surface patina is identical on all the objects ; also that it would be very strange if two finds of bronzes, in boxes, should occur in the same parish.
