Dent for the DOE in advance of gravel quarrying. Six graves were found. Grave 1 contained a crouched inhumation in the remains of a wooden dug-out coffin with a Food Vessel (2). In the fill of the grave were fragments of a human skull. Grave 2 contained the poorly preserved remains of an infant with a Food Vessel (3) - both probably within a wooden coffin. Grave 3 contained a cremation, possibly in a wooden casket, with a Food Vessel (4). Grave 4 contained a crouched inhumation with a bronze awl (1). A trapezoidal patch of charcoal may possibly be the remains of a funerary object or part of the wooden coffin in which the inhumation was laid. Grave 5 contained the crouched inhumation of a child with an inverted accessory vessel (5) in a rectangular wooden coffin. Grave 6 contained the crouched inhumation of a child.
