Subsequent investigation of the area revealed a small cremation cemetery. The small bronze fragment (1) was found with fragments of an urn (2) and flint implements (3) with burnt bone. Two further urns (4-5) were found inverted over cremations and seven cavities were found with burnt bones. It was thought that these cavities had once contained urns.
