The finder absconded with the ornaments and sold them to a silversmith in Blandford. They were recovered, however and came into the possession of Lady Caroline Damer. The original report records the finding of two pieces only, the Torc (1) and the bracelet (2). (c) included a dress fastener in the hoard, but this was found in the bog of Cullen, Co Tipperary, around the middle of the 18th Century. (Archaeologia 3, 1774 Pl. 19, bottom).
