Barrow T8 is one of a group of 4 barrows near the SW entrance to Stanton Moor. At point A on the plan (fig. 4), a little west of centre, a pit was found containing a cremation with charcoal (6) accompanied by a number of small pieces of burnt bronze (1), the remains of  a (? bone) pin (2) and a pygmy cup (3). At point B on the plan, under the outer ring of stones, due north, a deposit of cremated bones was found, representing the remains of two individuals. With this deposit a number of pieces of bronze (2) burned and twisted by fire, were found. It is suggested that these bronze fragments may be the remains of two small tanged knifes.
