It is situated near a field adjoining the southern side of the moor and 48 yds due N of the track running east of the Cock Stone. A cremation was found in a small circular pit under the centre of the barrow, accompanied by part of a bronze awl (1) thirteen pieces of burnt flint (2) and a large amount of charcoal (3).
