Primary cremation in a circular, slab-roofed cist, 2ft in diameter cut slightly more than 1ft below the original turf line. The cremation was accompanied by fragments of a gold covered bronze disc (1) originally interpreted as a \"sun-disc\", but perhaps more probably the base of a bowl, Fused lumps of copper (2) were also found and fragments of at least two urns (3)\r\n\r\nOTHER CARD\r\nBarrow opened by the Rev. J. Skinner 22 Dec. 1817 to 6 Jan. 1818. Nearly under the centre of the barrow a cist was found containing the ? primary cremation with objects (1-4).
