The SNP government in Scotland and every single Labour and SNP council in the country is carrying out the orders of the Con-Dem government and slashing public services. The SNP want to reduce cooperation tax even further for big business. Neither the SNP or Labour represents working class people. Those trade unions that are affiliated to the Labour Party pay millions to Labour each year and get no support in return.\r\nWe call for those unions to stop funding New Labour and use the money to start to support candidates that will fight the cuts and help build a party that stands in trade unionist interests. That is why the Socialist Party Scotland helped set-up the Scottish Anti-Cuts coalition - to fight for a real alternative to the parties of cuts and austerity. We contested the 2012 council elections on a clear 'no cuts' platform, arguing for councillors to refuse to implement the ConDem cuts and for a return of the billions stolen from public services by the Con-Dem government.\r\n\r\nTAKE THE WEALTH OFF THE 1% - FIGHT FOR SOCIALISM \r\nSocialist Party Scotland will campaign for a Yes vote in the referendum. We will campaign for an independent socialist Scotland that would link up with England, Wales and Ireland as part of a democratic socialist confederation as a step to a socialist Europe. The same bankers and financiers that triggered the crisis by gambling vast sums are now demanding that governments make us pay for their crisis. We need a clear idea of an alternative to the cuts- whether implemented at breakneck speed by the ConDem's, or more slowly by New Labour and SNP. The alternative is socialism.\r\n\r\nJoin the SOCIALISTS today \r\nText JOIN with your name and postcode to 07761 818206\r\nemail info@socialistpartyscotland.org.uk\r\nwww.socialistpartyscotland.org.uk"}}, {"id": 138455, "created": "2020-05-08T06:14:05.229320", "project_id": 467, "task_id": 90509, "user_id": null, "user_ip": "172.192.70.19", "finish_time": "2020-05-08T06:42:02.082174", "timeout": null, "calibration": null, "external_uid": null, "media_url": null, "info": {"comments": "", "graphelem": "\"POWERS FOR DECISIVE CHANGE\" is in bold, all text from \"An end to cuts.\" to \"No to tuition fees, increase the EMA and for a living grant for all.\" is bolded and in a dot-point list, the paragraphs underneath \"REJECT THE PARTIES OF CUTS - WE NEED AN ALTERNATIVE\" and \"TAKE THE WEALTH OFF THE 1% - FIGHT FOR SOCIALISM\" are in thin red boxes, \"REJECT THE PARTIES OF CUTS - WE NEED AN ALTERNATIVE\" and \"TAKE THE WEALTH OFF THE 1% - FIGHT FOR SOCIALISM\" are bolded, \"Join the SOCIALISTS today\" is in white text, \"Join the SOCIALISTS today\" is in a filled red box, all text from \"Text JOIN\" to \"www.socialistpartyscotland.org.uk\" is bolded, all text from \"Text JOIN\" to \"www.socialistpartyscotland.org.uk\" is centre-aligned.", "leafletBody": "POWERS FOR DECISIVE CHANGE\r\n\r\nWe support the convening of a conference open to representatives of trade union branches, shop stewards committees, community groups, anti-cuts campaigns and political organisations etc. The role of this conference should be to draw up plans to launch a campaign on how the powers of devo max and independence could be used in the interests of the majority including trade unions members, their families and our communities.
