Any party (Labour, SNP, Liberal Democrat, Conservative, Green) could lead that government depending on which parties the people of Scotland vote for.

Scotland will never again be ruled by Conservative governments we didn't vote for.
The Conservative led government at Westminster has passed devastating welfare cuts that are affecting the most vulnerable in Scotland. This is despite a large majority of Scots not voting Conservative at the last election. Independence means we will get the governments that we actually vote for at every election.

We can choose to improve the lives of Scots by removing Trident nuclear weapons from the Clyde.
We are told by the UK government that there is no money for our NHS, education and welfare. However, Westminster will spend £100 billion to replace Trident nuclear weapons. Currently Scottish taxpayers contribute £163 million every year to maintain the existing Trident nuclear weapons. That money could be better spent on 3,880 nurses, 4,527 teachers or be used to improve our schools and hospitals and care for our most vulnerable. The cost to Scotland rises to £250 million per year when you include the Trident replacement.

A YES vote is the starting point for building a better future.
After a YES vote in 2014, we will gain the powers that we need to create a better society. Scotland is a wealthy, talented and ambitious nation. With independence, we can use our resources to their full potential for the benefit of the Scottish people. A YES vote in the referendum is an opportunity to radically improve the lives of people who live here and place real Labour values of justice and fairness at the heart of what we do.

Get Active:
If you are interested in helping with the campaign please visit the Get Active
section of our website at www.labourforindy.com/get_active"}}]
