He wants to base them in Scotland for the next 50 years.\r\nThe Scottish referendum in 2014 will be a chance to end to this waste of money and to bring about nuclear disarmament in Britain because:\r\nAll British nuclear weapons are based in Scotland, on Trident submarines at Faslane. \r\nThe constitution of an independent Scotland will ban nuclear weapons. \r\nIt would be very difficult for the Ministry of Defence to build a new Trident base in England. \r\nScottish independence will, almost certainly, mean there will be no nuclear weapons in the British Isles.
