This could mean thousands of Scots being forced into paying a very expensive monthly bill for their prescriptions.\r\n\r\nPRIVITISATION OF THE NHS The UK government plans to privatise the National Health Service and introduce a \u00a310 monthly 'membership' fee per person to use the NHS. This means that the poorest and most in need will be denied access to medical care as they will not be able to afford it.\r\n\r\nA DECIMATED WELFARE SYSTEM that will no longer be able to help those that are most in need. The UK government has forced many unwelcome and unfair policies on Scotland like the Bedroom tax, Universal Credit, PIP, restricted Child Benefit and Benefit Sanctions, and restricted Housing Benefit with the under 25's no longer qualifying. Foodbanks are increasing at an alarming rate and thousands of children are being born into poverty. All of these policies were opposed by the Scottish Government.\r\n\r\nMORE AUSTERITY Only 20% of spending cuts have been introduced so far. A further 80% of cuts are still to come. The Scottish budget will be slashed by \u00a34 Billion. Under the UK government, the worst is still to come.\r\n\r\nBILLIONS SPENT ON TRIDENT While thousands of people are being pushed into poverty, the UK government plans to upgrade Trident at a cost of \u00a325 billion. This money should be used to build new schools and hospitals."}}]
