Information needed

This project requires your help to capture the data held within the PDF scans.

It is a very straightforward tabulation exercise. Montpelier would like your help to transcribe the following fields:

1. Site #
2. Page #
3. Initials
4. Date
5. DE code
6. Inv #
7. Cat #
8. NCat Code
9. Material Code
10. Species
11. Bone type
12. Condition code
13. Artifact type
14. Number
15. Grams
16. Size grade
17. Notes
18. Problem?

Please use the following guidelines when filling out the catalogue sheets:

1. On the catalogue forms, entries may be marked to repeat on multiple rows with a vertical line or arrow. Please enter the number in each row.
2. You should enter an "Inv #" for every row. If there is no number listed, or no line as described above, enter the most recent "Inv #".
3. Despite having two columns on the catalogue sheet for "Species", only one should be filled and data entered.
4. A dash (--) in a column means no data was entered. Leave this column blank.
5. Use ALL CAPS FOR YOUR DATA ENTRY.
6. Please enter just the numbers in the weight column (omit the g)

Mistakes.

In some cases, there may be a mistake you notice on the catalogue sheet or something you have difficulty reading. Please put "x" in the far right column (Problem?) and then notate the problem in the "Transcriber's Comments" below so we can address it!
